Abstract: Examines data from the Midlife in the United States panel study to predict the level of volunteering activity by baby boomers in 2015. The author compares volunteer information for the baby boom (born 1946 to 1955), silent (1936 to 1945), and long civic (1926 to 1935) generations. The author's regression analysis forecasts that baby boomers will volunteer at higher levels in 2015 when compared to the silent generation in 2005. With bibliographic references.
